Podiatry Services

GEGPN currently employs and contracts podiatrists to provide the following podiatry services:

1. Ngangganawili Aboriginal Community Controlled Health & Medical Service Aboriginal Corporation (NACCHMS), Wiluna.  1 day per month. Joint funding arrangement with the WA Country Health Service, Midwest & Murchison region – Murchison District. Free access for local residents.

2. Leonora and Laverton District Hospitals and Mt Margaret Aboriginal Community. A week long clinic is conducted across these locations on a bimonthly basis. Regional administration and support is provided by the local health service. Free access for local residents.

3. Bega Garnbirringu Community Controlled Aboriginal Health Service (BGHS), Kalgoorlie. A podiatrist attends every Tuesday morning. The podiatrist works closely with GPs and Aboriginal Health Workers on Chronic Disease Management initiatives and promotions. Access by BGHS referral only.
