The two key components of the Better Outcomes in Mental Health Care Program (BOiMH) are:
a)  ATAPS – Access to Allied Psychological Services (applicable to GEGP Network)
b)  GP Psych Support – Access to Psychiatrist Support (not applicable to GEGPN)

The Department of Health and Ageing (DoHA) will provide funding to operate ATAPS projects, falling into Tier 1and Tier 2 funding:
a)  Tier 1 Funding is for ATAPS General (ATSI population, men, low-income earners, and youth (aged 12-18 with parental consent)
b)  Tier 2 Funding is for ATAPS Perinatal: women experiencing perinatal-related depression and anxiety during pregnancy and/or 12 months after birth of child. These mental health disorders must be specifically due to pregnancy or infant. Relationship issues during pregnancy should be directed to Women’s General Counselling at the Goldfields Women’s Health Care Centre (GWHCC)
